Sometimes there are things i just dont get straight away
Twitter, MySpace, Facebook are good examples
I’m not saying i don’t see the point. I just don’t usually see the point for me!
My other half and a couple of friends have been asking me when (not if!) i’ll be getting in on the act.
I got an email today inviting me to join the Small Business Specialist Community group and i couldn’t say no could i?
I’m looking forward to seeing how the SBSC group develops on there
So there, i’ve done it and jumped onto the latest bandwagon….

I know what you mean. I was like that about Facebook until this weekend and when Susanne added me as a friend, I started to explore more. I then started to think this is rather cool!
One good reason for joing the SBSC Group is that I’m really keen on getting feedback on the SBSC Programme, what’s good or bad and what ideas we can come up with which I can take to Microsoft Corp and say “hey, a whole bunch of Partners want this to happen” rather than it being just my voice! So, getting your thinking cap on!
I’m still not convinced about Twitter?
Well I’ve never even heard of Twitter so I’m feeling well out of it !
Hi Steve,
Your first comment on my blog..welcome!
from http://www.twitter.com
What is it?
Twitter is a community of friends and strangers from around the world sending updates about moments in their lives. Friends near or far can use Twitter to remain somewhat close while far away. Curious people can make friends. Bloggers can use it as a mini-blogging tool. Developers can use the API to make Twitter tools of their own. Possibilities are endless
Basically i understand that it’s similar to the status update bit on Facebook
Imagine you were at a conference (WPC for example!) as you went into a session you could sends a twitter update to say “Watching Steve Balmers Keynote”
Then anyone else who is viewing your status knows exactly what your doing
That’s the only use i can think for it!
