Things have been a little quiet around here. I\u2019ve had an awfully busy time professionally and personally and there are some things I\u2019ve done less of to make sure I can do more of some other things. Blogging being one of them. <\/p>\n
Anyway\u2026I thought I\u2019d share a massively obvious productivity tip. It\u2019s helped me write this post so why not!<\/p>\n
Here it comes\u2026.<drumroll><\/p>\n
GET UP AND DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT<\/strong><\/p>\n See, I told you it was obvious. I am as guilty as lots of other people who sit at their desk for extended periods of time trying to get through that every growing to-do list and we\u2019re always told that we should get up once in a while. <\/p>\n Unfortunately, making a cup of tea doesn\u2019t count which is how I fool myself into thinking I\u2019m doing it correctly. <\/p>\n By actually going and doing something different you\u2019ll come back refreshed and re-focussed. If that something means going outside then the fresh air and the total change of environment will give a much needed energy boost.<\/p>\n I did this today. I\u2019ve spotted a pattern recently where I hit a dip mid-afternoon and my concentration suffers. I decided to walk to the shops and the twenty minutes out in the autumn air have helped massively.<\/p>\n I\u2019m using the kick start to my afternoon to write this, what do you do to get going when you\u2019re feeling low on energy?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Things have been a little quiet around here.
