The Technet SBS Chat finished about 30 minutes ago<\/p>\n

As i thought may happen it was mainly centered around people who wanted to know about Cougar and not about SBS2003 support as it was originally billed!<\/p>\n

Most of the Cougar stuff is available elsewhere on the internet<\/p>\n

I asked if there were any plans to allow an upgrade to companyweb instead of the side-by-side install we have to do now, “no current plans” <\/strong><\/p>\n

I also asked if Response Point is going to appear in the UK, “At the moment this is a US only product. Since it is produced by a number of hardware vendors I think it will be a long time, or not at all. Don’t worry, you will have plenty of options for VoIP from Microsoft over the coming period”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The only thing i found a little strange was that lots of people care enough about SBS and their business to put 45-minutes aside to login to a chat session, but ask questions on things that are readily available elsewhere such as the Cougar information. (I was going to post some examples…but thats not fair)<\/p>\n

But i guess this is to be expected when we’re all waiting for some more information on new products<\/p>\n
