Susanne posted a while back<\/a> about a problem with Windows Media Player on Vista where the music continues to play even after you have closed the program<\/p>\n

I’d noticed the same thing on my computer at home so just got into the habit of stopping whatever i was listening to before i closed<\/p>\n

I was reading through the latest technet flash when i found this KB article<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here is the solution they offer<\/p>\n

WORKAROUND<\/h3>\n

To work around this problem when it occurs, follow these steps to shut down Windows Media Player:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
1.<\/td>\nPress CTRL+ALT+DEL.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2.<\/td>\nClick Start Task Manager<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3.<\/td>\nClick the Processes<\/strong> tab.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4.<\/td>\nClick the wmplayer.exe<\/strong> process.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
5.<\/td>\nClick End Processes<\/strong>, and then click End process<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

Well duh!<\/p>\n
