I’ d been eagerly awaiting the annoucement of the latest Technet events (i heard about it first from Georgina Mitcham’s blog<\/a>) and as Vijay was i was <\/a>a little disappointed there were no events planned in the Midlands.<\/p>\n

I appreciate that there are only limited resources but i thought surely the Midlands would be a good area to target the maximum amount of people.<\/p>\n

But then i read Vijay’s comments and he’s quite right<\/p>\n

and i quote,\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Luckily the technical content is worth travelling some distance for”<\/p>\n

and that is the key for me.<\/p>\n

It’s a free event that will only cost me time and petrol money but will give me an awful lot of value and it will also present the opportunity to meet other techies and Microsoft staff<\/p>\n

So currently i’m going to Manchester on September 20th for “TechNet on the Road” and i’ll be hanging around after for “Vista After Hours”<\/p>\n

It’ll be a long day but worth it<\/p>\n
