Just a very quick one as I came across this for the first time in ages today. This isn\u2019t particularly new but I wanted to document it somewhere! <\/p>\n

When opening Outlook you receive the error <\/p>\n

\n

“Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. Invalid XML, the view cannot be loaded.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What this means is the file that holds your navigation preferences has likely been damaged in some way.<\/p>\n

Fix is simple enough<\/p>\n

run Outlook using the switch RESETNAVPANE<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Any navigation preferences will be reset (favourite folders, etc) and will need setting up again. <\/p>\n
