*SARCASM ON*<\/p>\n

So this week i’m on the wind down to Christmas hence the lack of blog posts<\/p>\n

*SARACASM OFF*<\/p>\n

So i’m spending the week before christmas putting in a new SBS.\u00a0 Thankfully we have great resources such as SwingMigration.com<\/a>\u00a0to help ease a lot of the pains<\/p>\n

This particular upgrade (currently on SBS 2000) has been a long time coming and we have been talking a lot about how replacing the creaky old hardware with “bigger, faster, more powerful” kit would help safeguard the network for next few years as well as adding great new functionality such as RWW, OWA, Sharepoint, etc, etc would be a good idea<\/p>\n

Three people have come into the office we’re working in this week, excited to see the new kit. They all said the same thing,<\/p>\n

“It’s the same size? I was expecting it to be bigger than that”<\/p>\n

Why is there the perception that a “bigger and better” server means physically larger?<\/p>\n
