{"id":222,"date":"2008-01-18T21:55:26","date_gmt":"2008-01-18T21:55:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/parkesy.wordpress.com\/2008\/01\/18\/good-customer-service-experience\/"},"modified":"2008-01-18T21:55:26","modified_gmt":"2008-01-18T21:55:26","slug":"good-customer-service-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/andyparkes.co.uk\/blog\/index.php\/2008\/01\/18\/good-customer-service-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Good Customer Service Experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I wasn&#8217;t going to post about this but <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tubbweb.spaces.live.com\/blog\/cns!BDC5D8CC9BEA292B!1292.entry\" title=\"TubbLog\" class=\"broken_link\">this post from Richard\u00a0Tubb<\/a>\u00a0and the email i got that went with it convinced me otherwise as he makes a good point<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s really easy to complain about poor customer service but it&#8217;s far to easy forget when it works out really well<\/p>\n<p>We put a new HP server in for customer the week before Christmas. I finished on the Friday and thought that was it till the new year<\/p>\n<div>I came in to the office on Christmas Eve and i&#8217;d had some alerts from the server management agent reporting there was a problem<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I ran the diagnostic utilities and it plainly reported  back, &#8220;replace the cache board&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I called HP support to log the fault.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I explained that because of the Christmas break arranging site access to coincide with an engineer would be difficult<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>They gave me the option of booking an engineer in the new year or they would send the parts to our directly to our office<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I took the parts delivery option.
