I wasn’t entirely aware that US mobile phone users paid for incoming as well as outgoing calls and the report mentioned in the articles suggests

It’s 29th February today…It’s just another day right? I just got off the phone to a supplier who said “If you call after three i’ll be in a meeting but there will be no-one else here. I’ve sent them all home early. As it’s a leap year they don’t get paid for today” Interesting point
